| You get detailed information and a map of the Danube Bicycle Route in Serbia if you click on the stages above. One of the most favourite bicycle stages in Europe, the Danube Bicycle Route, which stretches from Germany over Austria all the way to Hungary, is now identified as running up to the Danube mouth in Romania. In 2009, you are presented a third fully completed map for the Danube Bicycle Route from Budapest to the Black Sea. This map will make it possible for you to discover some still unknown Danube regions and to experience its highlights. On the map, there are marks indicating, for example, the most important accommodation facilities, restaurants and monuments. You can also find information about marinas and harbours. You can download the map, for example, at the Cartographie Huber-www.kartographie.de.The whole Danube Bicycle Route is a now a part of the EuroVelo Route 6, on which you can cross Europe from the West to the East, from the Atlantic to the Black Sea by bicycle. (Info: www.eurovelo6.org). Unfortunately, the Danube Bicycle Route has not been entirely signposted. Since the season 2008, the whole route part stretching from the Hungarian border to Belgrade (320 km) and the part between Veliko Gradiste and the Bulgarian boarder (Iron Gate region, 230 km) are signed. In 2009 the last part between Belgrade and the Iron Gate region will be completed. |
